Files and text you process
The Unicode/Preeti converter, image converter, image compressor, image cropper, image-to-text (OCR) tool and QR code generator all do their work on your device using JavaScript. Text you type and files you choose are processed in your browser's memory and are not sent to us. When you close or reload the page, the files are gone, unless you downloaded the results.
Information stored in your browser
To make the tools more convenient, we store a few items in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us:
- Your light or dark theme choice.
- The last text entered in the Unicode/Preeti converter and the direction you chose, so it is still there when you come back.
- Your chosen compression size, OCR language and QR code design.
You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this website.
Third-party services
To load quickly, the website uses the following third-party services. When your browser requests files from them, they receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page that made the request, under their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts for the website's fonts.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr for open-source code libraries used by the tools, including the PDF, cropping and QR code libraries.
- Tesseract OCR language data, downloaded from jsDelivr the first time you use the Image to Text tool.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements, which keeps this website free. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies to serve ads on this website.
